I used her as a dog chaperone for my wedding last week, she came and picked Reya up from our accommodation and took her to the venue... read more (and tidied her up as she decided to play in mud just before being picked up), she helped manage her during the ceremony so as she remained calm and quiet and then handled her while waiting for Reya to be needed for photos. When Reya was no longer needed at the venue Belinda took her back to the accommodation for us. Using The Pawfectionist made our day so much more relaxing and was so important for us to have Reya there on our big day. I love The Pawfectionist!

I recently adopted a Belgian Shepherd who has developed some lead reactivity and towards other dogs and would bark at them uncontrollably. Within the 2 hours, Belinda explained why our girl was behaving in certain ways and taught us the difference between our perception and their perception, and how a lot of her behaviours were driven by fear. She taught us training techniques that were easy to pick up and super effective for our pup, and when we went for a walk together, Belinda showed us practically how to do a correction and the importance of timing in both rewarding and correcting behaviours. I’m very pleased to discover that after the consult, and within a mere few days, our Shepherd no longer pulls and I feel confident to go for walks now. Of course, the lead reactivity is still an ongoing issue, but before meeting Belinda, I’d avoid going for walks and would be stressed every time we see another dog on the road. Now, after one single consult with The Pawfectionist, I am no longer anxious when I walk my girl, and actually get excited when I see another dog (as we can practise and get better!) Highly recommend Belinda as a dog trainer (or dog owner trainer as I see it) who is very patient and great at explaining things. So so glad we’ve found her for our dog. PS: the treats at the shop in Greensborough are absolutely amazing and my dog loves them!

Belinda and her husband are probably two of the most unhelpful people. I feel extremely unwelcome every time I come into the store, I’m hardly greeted. Not to mention the... read more prices are unbelievable. Belinda has the mindset of a PTA mother and has harassed me continuously about my own dog and has threatened to call the RSPCA on me because my dog has barked for an hour of a morning. Yet Belinda trains dogs by using harsh dog shock collars if she is making money from a service. I will never shop here again and would rather go to pet barn where the customer service is fantastic and the staff genuinely care about your pets.
