Within the 2 hours, Belinda explained why our girl was behaving in certain ways and taught us the difference between our perception and their perception, and how a lot of her behaviours were driven by fear. She taught us training techniques that were easy to pick up and super effective for our pup, and when we went for a walk together, Belinda showed us practically how to do a correction and the importance of timing in both rewarding and correcting behaviours. I’m very pleased to discover that after the consult, and within a mere few days, our Shepherd no longer pulls and I feel confident to go for walks now. Of course, the lead reactivity is still an ongoing issue, but before meeting Belinda, I’d avoid going for walks and would be stressed every time we see another dog on the road. Now, after one single consult with The Pawfectionist, I am no longer anxious when I walk my girl, and actually get excited when I see another dog (as we can practise and get better!) Highly recommend Belinda as a dog trainer (or dog owner trainer as I see it) who is very patient and great at explaining things. So so glad we’ve found her for our dog. PS: the treats at the shop in Greensborough are absolutely amazing and my dog loves them!

They also have such a wide variety and treats and other pet supplies in their store, and are so helpful with any questions you may have about their products or your pets behaviours.

Belinda and her husband are probably two of the most unhelpful people. I feel extremely unwelcome every time I come into the store, I’m hardly greeted. Belinda has the mindset of a PTA mother and has harassed me continuously about my own dog and has threatened to call the RSPCA on me because my dog has barked for an hour of a morning. Yet Belinda trains dogs by using harsh dog shock collars if she is making money from a service. I will never shop here again and would rather go to pet barn where the customer service is fantastic and the staff genuinely care about your pets.

I was having trouble with my beautiful girl Sadie constantly barking at everything. After wasting my money trying different internet fad products that didn’t work, like the citronella collar and the high frequency emitting deterrents, I was at my wits end. However with Paul’s expert advice we have been able to stop the long barking outbursts much to our (and our neighbours!!) relief. When we made the decision that we could not have our wedding without our naughty dogs, we had to have the best in town trainers to assist on the day!... read more We were so lucky to have been referred to Belinda and Andrew who did a marvelous job in looking after our dogs, transporting them to the venue and keeping them calm during the wedding. They are such absolute legends too- they went above and beyond when a freak storm hit during the wedding and quickly escorted the dogs to safety. Not to mention, assist our guests with umbrellas. True professionals, trustworthy, reliable and all round awesome people. Thank you Belinda and Andrew - our dogs were in the best hands xx
